The Waste Optima Difference

Sustainable³ Approach

Economical, operational, and environmental wins—designed together.

Economical

  • Reduce disposal costs and improve netbacks

  • Monetize byproducts and surplus inventory

  • Favor long-term offtake vs. one-off hauls

Operational

  • Minimize contamination to cut rejects/returns

  • Optimize pickups (≥ 2,000 lb; strongest at 20,000 lb+)

  • Rail or truck logistics, including live loads and drop trailers

Environmental

  • Landfill diversion with documented CO₂e impacts

  • Prioritize reuse, then recycling, then recovery

  • Supports Scope 3 and ESG reporting

FAQs

Q1. Do you buy materials or charge for pickup?
A. Both are possible, depending on cleanliness, form, volumes, and freight. Clean, marketable material is often purchased. Mixed, hard-to-handle, or low-value streams may incur a service fee based on handling and transportation.

Q2. What industries do you serve?
A. We primarily serve manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centers, building materials and construction products, chemical and specialty materials producers, and consumer goods and food manufacturers.

Q3. How is pricing calculated?
A. Pricing is driven by material type and location—commodity or polymer value, cleanliness, packaging/loading method, and freight lane. We’ll provide a quote after reviewing photos, basic material details, and typical load size.

Q4. What minimum volumes do you work with?
A. We’re most effective when pickups are at least 2,000 lb per load, with the strongest programs built around full truckload volumes (20,000 lb+). For smaller, recurring streams, we may combine loads or design staged collection.

Q5. What areas do you serve?
A. Waste Optima works with manufacturers, warehouses, and industrial sites across the United States, leveraging a nationwide network of recycling, reuse, and logistics partners.

Q6. Can you support ESG and Scope 3 reporting?
A. Yes. Our diversion programs include documented tonnage, CO₂e reductions, and outlet details so you can support ESG reporting, Scope 3 disclosures, and internal sustainability metrics.
